Autumn Edition www.stgilespanto.co.uk September 2011
Panto 2012
In addition to the Committee which was elected at the AGM in May, we have invited Wendy Underwood, David Hookham and Jill Fieldhouse to support us in the production of Sinbad the Sailor which is being performed at the Town Hall from 16th - 21st January 2012.
Barbara had already put a lot of hard work and effort into the preparation of the show and we are all working hard to ensure we give her a performance to be proud of, but please if there is anything you think we have forgotten don’t wait until it is too late, speak to one of the Committee now and give us the opportunity to rectify it before it is too late.
The first rehearsal went well with lots of enthusiasm and dedication from the whole cast. David and Wendy are leading the rehearsals and are keen that everyone gives their full support to ensure we have a show to be proud of. Jill Fieldhouse and her team are busy with costumes and Kebir & Bernie have made a start with props.
Publicity for the show is already underway with posters, car stickers and flyers being readily available from Jane England (littlestretty@yahoo.com). If you know of anywhere we can put any of these, please do let Jane know as we are keen to promote the show at every opportunity.
Publicity photos for the full cast will be taken on Sunday 2nd October 2011 at St Mary‘s Centre, Chequerfield at 2:00pm.
